3 killed in Uri accident

SRINAGAR, June 21: Three persons died in a tragic road accident at Uri in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Reports said that a truck bearing registration number JK05A/6727 on way from  Salamabad to Uri went out of the control of the driver Tariq Ahmad. The truck fell into the river Jhelum near Uri Bridge, Baramulla. The mishap resulted in the death of three persons including the driver.
The bodies of the dead Tariq Ahmad Bhat aged 25 years (driver) son of Khazir Mohammad resident of Tapper-Pattan, Rameez Ahmad Mir aged 24 years (conductor) son of Ghulam Mohammad Mir resident of Buchoo-Tapper, Pattan and Fayaz Ahmad Mir son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-din resident of Wanigam Bala, Pattan have been fished out. A case has been registered in this regard.
