3 killed in road accidents

JAMMU, Sept 20: Three persons were killed in road accidents at different places.
As per reports, Poli Devi, wife of Natha Ram of Halqa Marh, was seriously injured in a road accident at Nagbani. She was shifted to Marh Hospital, from where, she was later shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where doctors pronounced her as brought dead.
The body was handed over to legal heirs, after completion of legal formalities, while, a case has been registered.
In another incident, Shiv Paul, son of Parmanand of Mansar, was injured, when an unknown vehicle hit him at Mansar.
He was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where doctors declared him as brought dead. The body was handed over to legal heirs, after autopsy, while, Police has taken the cognizance.
Meanwhile, Raj Kumar, son of Faqir Chand of Machine Domana, was seriously injured, when an unknown vehicle hit the scooty, he was riding.
On getting information, police rushed to the spot and shifted him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where doctors declared him as brought dead.
The body was handed over to family members, after completion of legal formalities, while, a case has been registered and investigation started.
A six year old girl namely Radhu Devi, daughter of Gian Chand of Prangal, Ramnagar, was injured, when a Maruti car (JKO2A 9804), hit her. She was shifted to District Hospital Udhampur, where her condition was stated to be stable, when last reports came. Driver of the car Mohan Singh, son of Manga Ram of Ramanagar, was arrested.
