3 jawans hurt in shelling

JAMMU, Feb 9: Three Army jawans were injured in overnight shelling by Pakistani troops in Krishna Ghati sector on the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district today.
Reports said Pakistani troops continued shelling in Krishna Ghati sector till late last night, which was retaliated very effectively by the Indian troops, leading to heavy exchanges.

Three Army jawans injured in the shelling have been identified as Balwinder Singh, Lakhwinder Singh and Charanjeet Singh.
One of them was airlifted to Military Hospital Udhampur in view of his critical condition.
Meanwhile, BSF amd Rangers today held a flag meeting at Chamblayal in Ramgarh sector of Samba district. The BSF pointed out suspicious movement of intruders on the border and asked Rangers to check such activities on their side.
