JAMMU, June 15: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the empanelment of 38 IPS officers, including three from the erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir cadre, as Additional Director Generals of Police (ADGPs) in the Centre.

As per an information note issued by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, the officers from erstwhile J&K Cadre include Mukesh Singh of the 1996 batch, and Viplav Kumar Choudhary and Vijay Kumar of the 1997 batch.
Three IPS officers from the AGMUT cadre-Hargobinder Singh Dhaliwal, Sagar Hooda, and Sharad Agarwal-have also been cleared for ADGP-level posts.
Among other officers who have been empanelled as ADGPs are Atul Singh, Nayyar Hasnain Khan, Abhinav Kumar, Bhanu Bhaskar, Jyoti Narain, N Madhusudhana Reddy, Omendra Nath Bhaskar, Jaideep Singh, Anand Pratap Singh, Amitabh Singh Dhillon, Ashish Batra, Samir S Ilme, Janardan Singh, Rekha Lohani, Sanjay Kumar, Pavan Kumar Rai, Vijay Kumar Singh, Devendra Singh Chouhan, Sanjay Kumar Jain, Vijay Kumar, Abhin Dinesh Modak, Ayush Mani Tiwari, Maheshwar Dayal, Sumit Sharan, Saurabh Tripathi, Sanjay Kumar Gunjyal, Neelesh Kumar, Raghubir Lal, Rahul Srivastav, Rajesh Subarno, Mahipal Yadav, and K Jayaraman.
