3 injured in scuffle, one in road mishap

JAMMU, Jan 14: Three youths were injured in a scuffle following a dispute which erupted between them while playing a cricket match at Flora in Domana area of city outskirts while a 16-year old boy injured in a road mishap at Talab Tillo.
According to a police spokesperson, the youth identified as Kulveer Singh (23) son of Bajinder Singh, Nitish Kumar (26) son of Shiv Kumar and Rohit Kumar son of Kaka Ram, all residents of Flora (Nagbani), were playing a cricket match at Flora this evening when on a petty issue they indulged in a scuffle and attacked each other with cricket bats.
In the incident, trio received serious injuries and were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for treatment.
Though no formal complaint was lodged by the victims and their family members yet, the Domana police has taken cognizance of the matter.
Meanwhile, a 16-year old boy received injuries in a road mishap at Talab Tillo, when the bike he was riding on, got slipped. The injured identified as Amit Sharma son of Dharminder Sharma, a resident of Gole Puli, Talab Tillo was rushed to GMCH for treatment.
