UDHAMPUR, Dec 28: Three persons traveling in a Wagon-R car were critically injured when their vehicle was hit by a Tavera car near Birma Bridge, about 10 kilometers from the town, here today.
The accident took place when the Wagon-R car, bearing registration number JK01P-4499 and coming from Srinagar to Jammu, collided with Tavera car JK14B-2013 on the National Highway. Police shifted the injured to District Hospital Udhampur.
They were identified as Mohd Younus (60) son of Ali Mohamed of Awantipora Srinagar, his Afija (54) and five-year old Sahiba, daughter of Nazir Mohamed of Srinagar.
Driver of the Tavera vehicle fled the scene after the accident.
