MENDHAR, May 20: Three persons were injured when a tipper and car met head on collision at Bhata Durian in Gursai area of Mendhar in district Poonch today.
A police spokesman said that mishap took place when both the vehicles were moving in the opposite direction. Driver Javed Ahmed Magray of the car No. JK-06/ 8836 and his two relatives sitting with him namely- Mohd Tariq of Bhata Durian and Shamim Akhtar from Fatehpur, Mandi were seriously injured when their car after collided with a Tipper No. JK-12/1545 and fell into a gorge.
The injured were rushed to Surankote Hospital by police where driver Javed was later referred to GMC Hospital, Jammu in view of his critical condition. Gursai police has taken cognizance of the matter.
