RAMBAN, Oct 12: Police arrested three gamblers along with Rs 15,700 stake money and playing cards.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Ramban police station conducted raid at Shan Palace and arrested three gamblers along with Rs 15,700 stake money and playing cards.
The accused have been identified as Pancham Singh, son of Sunder Singh of Sangaldan, Kamaljeet Singh, son of Ishar Dass of Sumbhar and Abdul Majeed Batt, son of Mohammad Shafi of Bhaddan Sangaldan.
A case under Section 13 Gambling Act has been registered against the accused at Ramban police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Ramban Inspector Ajay Singh Chib made the arrests under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Mohammad Rafiq Choudhary and SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar.
