JAMMU, Feb 26: Police in Jammu District claimed on Sunday that they have arrested three drug peddlers and recovered from their possession 104 grams of heroin.
While 100 grams of heroin and Rs 45000 cash was recovered from one person identified as Vinod Kumar alias Ghudaa from Nikki Tawi area four grams of heroin was recovered from two people identified as Mandeep Singh and Narinder Singh of Gadigarh from Kotli Mian Fateh area of Bishnah.
Police have booked the accused under relevant sections of the law and taken up further investigations.
Pertinently, the recoveries were made by a police team of PP Canal Road led by DySP Headquarters, Dr Sunniya Wani assisted by SHO Nowabad Inspector Vijay Kumar and incharge Police Post Canal Road, PSI Amreek Singh and another time of Police Station Bishnah led by SHO Bishnah Inspector Vikram Sharma.
