3 drug peddlers arrested with heroin

JAMMU, Sept 27: Janipur and Gadigarh Police arrested three drug peddlers along with heroin.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Janipur Police Station led by Incharge SHO Khyati Maan Khajuria apprehended two persons along with 10 grams of heroin.
The arrested persons were identified as Tanu Dhanja, son of Hari Krishan of Haryana and Sandeep Kumar, son of Ram Jah Singh of Chandigarh.
A case under FIR Number 74/2020 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Janipur and investigation started.
Meanwhile, a team from Gadigarh Police Post led by SI Lakhvir Singh laid a naka near Jeevan Nagar and intercepted a motorcycle. During checking, police team recovered 6 grams heroin from the possession of the rider and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Aman, son of Raja, a resident of Rajeev Nagar Narwal. A case under relevant sections has been registered at Police Station Satwari and investigation started.
