REASI, Apr 14: Police arrested three drug peddlers during the intervening night of April 13-14 and seized 4.5 gm heroin from their possession.
Acting on a specific information, a Police team headed by Dr Wasim Hamdani, Dysp Hqrs Reasi and SHO Reasi, Insp Ashwani Sharma, laid a naka at Karua Main road and intercepted one motor cycle bearing registration number JK20A- 3983, coming from Katra towards Reasi. On their personal search, 4.5 grams of heroin was recovered.
The accused motorcyclist and his pillion riders were identified as Sahil Sharma son of Sham Lal Sharma of Karua Reasi, Rakesh Bhagat alias Rinku, son of Kewel Krishan of Bhang Seri Reasi and Randhir Singh alias Shotu son of Santokh Singh of Partial, Katra
On this, case FIR number 67/2019 u/s 8/22/29 NDPS Act was registered and investigation started.
