JAMMU, Apr 14: A woman received some injuries at her neck when some unidentified bikers today snatched her gold chain in Bakshi Nagar area.
As per police sources, a woman namely Anju Sharma, wife of Anil Dutta, resident of Rehari Colony, was on the way to her residence when some unidentified bikers snatched the gold chain, she was wearing in her neck.
“The victim raised hue and cry and locals rushed to the spot, but till then the bikers fled from the spot. Due to snatching of chain, the woman also received some injury in her neck. After providing first aid at Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, the victim was discharged,” sources said.
They said a case under relevant Sections has been registered at Bakshi Nagar police station and manhunt has been launched to arrest the chain snatchers. However, no arrest was made till late tonight.
