3-day workshop on ‘Mobile Film Making’ begins at CUJ

SAMBA, Apr 11: Three days workshop on, “Mobile Film Making,”, being organized by the Mass Communication and New Media (MCNM) Department of the Central University of Jammu (CUJ), began today at the University campus.
Ritesh Taksande from Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) Pune, a well know Filmmaker, Educator, Editor, Director, Program Director, was the resource person for the workshop.
He briefed about the process of film making wherein he spoke about the strategy and development for the process of film making, pre-production, production, post-production and the delivery. He informed about the basic structure of 3s (Story, Stability and Sound) in the films and also explained how to get hands on different gadgets required for film making to the participants.
Head of Department (HoD) MCNM, Prof Baccha Babu delivered the welcome note while Dean School of Knowledge Management and Media Studies, Prof Devanand articulated the presidential remarks. Registrar CUJ Dr Yashwant Singh was also present on the dais.
In the second session, a quiz was organised on the film making and dialogue delivery. The workshop will continued from tomorrow morning 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM.
