KARGIL, Apr 18: The 3-day District Level Multilingual Literary meet concluded today at Academy Hall Baroo during which it was decided that there should some efforts from the writer and scholars section of Kargil to represent the works done by writer and scholars of Kargil.
It was unanimously decided that a committee will be established to take a decision for making a commonly acceptable script for the writer section of the Kargil which is a great hindrance in the society now-a-days.
During these three days 70 scholars presented their papers, poems and short stories in Purgi, Sheena, Balti, Urdu and Kashmiri languages.
Like the two previous days of the 3-day District Level Multilingual Literary meet today yet again saw an impressive gathering of poets, scholars and intellectuals from different parts of Kargil district at Academy Hall, Baroo, Kargil.
Famous poet, scholar and writer Haji Mohammad Baqir Baqir who presided the final day proceedings, appreciated the role played by Late Kacho Sikander Khan Sikander, in uplifting and making pug mark for the coming generations.
He appreciated the role of Academy Kargil and stressed on the need of such programmes in the near future.
In the last District Cultural Officer Kargil Mohammad Ali Tak thanked the writers, scholars and paper presenters for taking keen interest in the programmes of Academy and making them successful.
