REASI, Apr 29: Three persons were charred to death when a car caught fire after it fell into a gorge near Tote village in district Reasi today.
Official sources said that a car bearing registration number, JK20C- 0599 fell into a deep gorge near Tote village and caught fire. The ill fated vehicle was going from Reasi towards Kargh. When it reached near Tote, it fell into a gorge and soon it caught fire. All the persons on board, were burnt alive on the spot.
The dead persons were identified as Mohan Chand (32), son of Suram Chand, resident of Devigarh; Karnail Singh (47), son of Tirath Ram, a resident of Gull, Tote and Nasib Singh (65), son of Sonmal, a resident of Kargh, Tote. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
