3 arrested with 1.5 kgs ganja

JAMMU, Aug 4: Police arrested three drug peddlers and recovered 1.500 kilograms of ganja from their possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bishnah Police Station led by SHO Inspector Deepak Pathania in co-ordination with District Special Branch under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Sourabh Prasher and SP Headquarters Farooq Qasier laid a naka on Peer Baba road and intercepted three pedestrians, who were moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 1.500 kilograms of ganja from the possession of the pedestrians and arrested them.
The accused have been identified as Vijay Chandra, son of Sham Lal, Kanhiya Chandra, son of Gouri Chandra and Ajay Kumar alias Vibrator, all residents of Chattisgarh, at present Bishnah.
A case under FIR Number 132/19 under section 8/20/29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Bishnah and investigation started.
