JAMMU, Oct 24: Sidhra police arrested three persons along with Rs 11500 stake money and playing cards.
As per police sources, based on specific information, a team from Sidhra Police Post conducted raid in Asrarabad area and apprehended three gamblers along with Rs 11500 stake money and two packets of playing cards.
The arrested persons have been identified as Kais Mohammad, son of Qazi Mohammad of Sidhra, Fazal Hussain, son of Gammi of Bajalta and Salamat Ali alias Bawa, son of Nawab Din of Sidhra.
A case under Section 13 Gambling Act has been registered at Nagrota Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Sidhra Police Post SI Tariq Ahmed made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Nagrota Inspector Bhushan Manhas, SDPO Nagrota Yashbir Singh Salathia and SP Rural Shivdeep Singh Jamwal.
