BHADERWAH, Oct 1: Bhaderwah Police arrested three persons and recovered 153 bottles of illicit liquor from their possession, a police official said.
The arrested persons have been identified as Kuldeep Singh, son of Tirath Lal of Drafda Tehsil Bhalla District Doda, Sanjeet Singh, son of Mool Raj of Bharoi Sartingal Bhaderwah and Vikram Singh, son of Gardarm Singh of Katyara Bhaderwah.
All the accused were carrying the illicit liquor to their native areas for selling among the masses to make illegitimate profits.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at Bhaderwah Police Station and investigation started.
Police teams led by SHO Bhaderwah Inspector Muneer Khan, SI Ravinder Singh and SI Abdul Latief made the arrests under the supervision of SDPO Bhaderwah Aadil Rishu and Additional SP Bhaderwah Rajinder Singh.
