3 Army men among 5 arrested for stabbing

SRINAGAR, Mar 3:  Three Army men are among five arrested by police after they stabbed a man in hotel at Gulmarg last night after they had an argument as they were watching India-Pakistan cricket match on Television.
Police arrested five persons, including three Army men, after a youth Muhammad Younis Reshi was allegedly stabbed inside a hotel.
Sources said that last evening scuffle broke out between Army men and few civilians at Jawahar Lal Nehru Institute of Mountaineering and Winter Sports.
Sources said that the youth was allegedly stabbed by an Army man injuring him seriously.
Reshi, resident of Bhaderwah in Jammu, and working as Skiing instructor, was called to room by Army men, allegedly beaten up and stabbed, sources said. He was immediately rushed to Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Soura.
The arrested Army men have been identified as Havaldar Jitender Singh, N K Sonam and N K Hajari Lal. The arrested civilians were identified as Lakshman of Udhampur and Kuldip Singh of Baderwah.
Police have registered a case (under FIR No. 2/2014 under Section 242 and 323) at Gulmarg Police Station, in district Baramulla.
