POONCH, June 25: Police today arrested a bovine smuggler and rescued three animals from his possession.
Reports said that a Police team, led by SHO Sarweshwar Dev Singh intercepted the smuggler when he was moving towards Surankote from Poonch. Police rescued the animals and arrested the accused, who was identified as Mohammad Afzal, son of Mohammad Abdullah of Seri Khawaja.
A case FIR number 102/2020, under sections 188 IPC and PCA Act has been registered in this connection at Police station Poonch.
