3 absconders arrested

JAMMU, Feb 1: Gangyal and Samba police arrested three absconders, who were evading their arrest since long.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Gangyal Police Station conducted raid and apprehended an absconder, who was at large since long.
The arrested person identified as Harjeet Singh, son of Bhopinder Singh of Kunjwani, Jammu has been produced in the court of law.
He was involved in a case registered under FIR Number 90/2006 under Section 457 and 380 RPC with Police Station Gangyal. Arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC also stands issued against him by the court.
Police team led by SHO Gangyal SI Nayat Ali made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO South Dr Sunniya Ashkoor Wani, SP South Vinay Kumar and SSP Jammu Tejinder Singh.
Meanwhile, a team from Samba Police Station apprehended two absconders, who have been identified as Raghubir Singh, son of Parshotam Singh of Chorli Bishnah, Jammu and Rohan Thappa, son of Vishal Thappa of Gorkha Nagar, Jammu.
They were wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 103/11 under section 307, 147, 148, 149 RPC and 3/25 and 4/25 Arms Act with Police Station Samba.
Accordingly, the absconders, who were evading their arrest for the last eight years after commission of crime, were produced in the court of law and warrant got executed.
Police team led by SHO Samba Inspector Chanchal Singh made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Samba Deepak Digra and SSP Samba Dr Koshal Sharma.
