JAMMU:
As many as 29 civilians, including fresh six residents of Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (POK), today crossed the Line of Control in a weekly Poonch-Rawlakote ‘Peace Bus’ via Chakkan-da-Bagh in Poonch district.
“As many as 29 civilians today crossed the sides in a ‘Peace Bus’ at Chakkan-da-Bagh,” an official here said. He said that from this side of the border, five fresh Indian went across while 10 PoK residents returned back to their homes.
“From the other side, eight Indian citizens returned to their homes after completing their stipulated stay across while six fresh PoK residents also boarded the bus,” he added.
The gate remained open from 1308 hrs to 1315 hrs. (AGENCIES)
