SRINAGAR, May 6: Twenty six students were injured in stampede in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district this morning after they saw bear during morning prayers. The stampede occurred when students were busy in morning prayers at Abu Hanifa Memorial School in Rajpora area of Pulwama. The students spotted a wild bear chasing dogs that led to panic and stampede. Twenty six students received minor injuries. A youth was injured after he was attacked by a bear in the same area yesterday. They alleged that despite repeated pleas the Wildlife authorities didn’t catch two bears roaming in the village.
