SRINAGAR:
Twenty five Sub Inspectors (SIs) of Jammu and Kashmir Armed police were promoted to next grade with immediate effect, a police spokesman said here this afternoon.
He said Director General of Police (DGP), K Rajendra Kumar, today promoted 25 Sub-Inspectors of J&K Armed Police to the rank of Inspectors with immediate effect. Mr Kumar congratulated the promoted Inspectors and stressed upon them to rededicate themselves for public service.
He said the department would take efforts to create promotion avenues for all ranks of the force. Vacancies in the department would be fulfilled on priority, he said. He asked the officers to update the service records of all officials so that the timely promotions are made. (AGENCIES)
