JAMMU, Nov 14: Jammu and Kashmir reported 25 new dengue cases, taking the total count this year to 3,173. According to figures released by the Directorate of Health Services Jammu, a total of 326 tests were conducted on November 13. Of the fresh positive cases, 15 are males and 10 females. The age-wise breakup shows 3 cases among children and 22 among adults.
Kathua and Udhampur reported 9 cases each while Jammu followed with 4 cases, Reasi 2 cases and Rajouri 1 case. A total of 41 cases have been reported from other states and UTs this year.
Since January, 49 patients have been admitted, of whom 46 have been discharged. One death has been recorded so far. A comparison with last year shows a significant decline, as 6,031 cases were reported during the same period in 2024.
