KATHUA, Dec 1: Twenty five people were injured after a head on collision between Mini Bus and Tipper at Hatli road near here, today. Most of the injured were school going children who were on the way from Hatli to Kathua.
Among the injured two are serious and were shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu for specialized treatment while others are undergoing treatment in District Hospital Kahtua.
The accident took place when a Mini bus bearing Registration No JK08F 0204 which was on the way from Hatli to Kathua collided head on with Tipper bearing Registration No PB06L 2877 at Dhol Khud area on Hatli road. The head on collision caused the injuries to 25 passengers traveling in the vehicle.
They were shifted to District Hospital Kathua and are under treatment there. They were identified as Mini bus driver Sonu Din, Vikas ,Ramkia,, Ranjit Singh ,Sonkia, Sushma ,Pankaj Singh,Manharan, Ranjit Singh ,Asha Devi, Anjana, Vishal, Deep Kumar, Sohan Singh , Gurdev Singh , Anu , Sonkia , Meena , Deepak Singh , Rani , Niku , Vishal, Dev Kumar, Radhika , and Jaswinder Kour .
Two seriously injured were so far shifted to GMC Jammu. Police has registered a case under FIR No 125/18, under Section 279, 337 and started investigation into the matter.
