KATHUA, Aug 16: Twenty five passengers were injured after a Haryana Roadways Bus which was on its way from holy town of Katra to Gurgaon fell down from Ravi bridge in Madhavpur area falling under the jurisdiction of Sujanpur police Station in Punjab this evening.
According to Punjab Police all passengers are out of danger. They have been taken to a civil hospital in Pathankote for first-aid and treatment where from they will be deported by another vehicle to Gurgaon, Haryana.
Police said the bus bearing number BLIPC 4012 rolled down from Ravi bridge after crossing the jurisdiction of J&K State and fell on the river bed resulting into minor injuries to 25 passengers. However the river bed where the bus fell was dry and no major injury was suffered by any passenger, he added.
