JAMMU, Dec 6: In separate orders issued today, Government placed 13 faculty members of Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu and 12 of GMC Srinagar on higher posts in their own pay and grade and transferred/posted 33 doctors of Health Department.
As per the first order which was issued for GMC Jammu, Dr Vipan Mangotra, Associate Professor (Radio Diagnosis), Dr Rajesh Sharma, Associate Professor (Radio Diagnosis), Dr Shabnam Choudhary, Associate Professor (Pharmacology), Dr Vishal Tandon, Associate Professor (Pharmacology), Dr Sunil Dutt Sharma, Associate Professor (Paediatrics) and Dr Deepti Mahajan, Associate Professor (Pathology) have been promoted as Professors.
Dr Sapna Gupta, Assistant Professor (Pharmacology), Dr Sharminder Kaur, Assistant Professor (Pharmacology), Dr Robina Mirza, Assistant Professor (Obst & Gynae) and Dr Bawa Ram Bhagat, Assistant Professor (Obst & Gynae) have been promoted as Associate Professors whereas Dr Rita Thakur, Lecturer (Obst & Gynae), Dr Gopika Kalsotra, Lecturer (ENT) and Dr Choudhary Ishfaq Ahmed, Lecturer (Medicine) have been promoted as Assistant Professors.
According to the second order which was issued for GMC Srinagar, Dr Hina Bashir, Associate Professor (Anesthesiology), Dr Javid Iqbal Naqashbandi, Associate Professor (Anesthesiology), Dr Khurshid Ahmad Dar, Associate Professor (CD & TB), Dr Ishrat Hussain Dar, Associate Professor (Medicine), Dr Mela Ram Attri, Associate Professor (Surgery) and Dr Mehnaz Sultan Khuroo, Associate Professor (Pathology) have been promoted as Professors.
Dr Arshi Taj, Assistant Professor (Anesthesiology), Dr Baby Shehnaz Geelani, Assistant Professor (Anesthesiology), Dr Mohd Ashraf, Assistant Professor (Medicine) and Dr Kulwant Singh Bhau, Assistant Professor (Surgery) have been promoted as Associate Professors whereas Dr Maraj Ud Din Bhat, Lecturer (Obst & Gynae) and Dr Tajamul Hussain Mir, Lecturer (Nephrology) have been promoted as Assistant Professors.
According to another order, Dr Kamal Jee Zadoo, Medical Officer (MO), NTPHC Adhkawari has been transferred and posted as Incharge BMO Pouni, Dr Suman Gupta (Incharge, DHO Samba) as Incharge Deputy CMO Jammu and Dr Chander Lekha (Incharge DIO Samba) as Incharge DHO Jammu. Dr Jyoti Jolly (PHC Raya) has been posted as Incharge DHO Samba, Dr Simmi Verma (ICDS Slum Jammu) as Incharge DIO Udhampur, Dr Somi Saran Anjal (AH Vijaypur) as Incharge BMO Hiranagar and Dr Mehmood Hussain Bajar (DH Rajouri) as Incharge BMO Manjakote.
Dr Mohd Yousaf Khan (Incharge Deputy CMO Jammu) shall await orders for further posting in Directorate of Health Services, Jammu whereas Dr Mukul Ubbott (under orders of transfer as BMO Pouni) shall continue at DH Kathua and look after the work of District mental Health Programme.
As per another order, Dr Susan Brasher (Consultant Anasthesia, TH Mahanpur), Dr Sudhir Dhar (Consultant Physician, Police Hospital, Jammu) and Dr Manmeet Kour (Consultant Gynae, Government Hospital, Sarwal) have been transferred and posted to SDH Jagti Nagrota in Jammu.
Likewise, according to another order, Dr Navneet Kour (MD Gynae) MO, Dr Neha Deol (MS ENT), Dr Arti Sarangal (DGO) MO, Dr Shivani (MD Physiology) MO and Dr Sophia Jan, MO, who were awaiting orders of adjustment, have been posted at CHC Katra, DH Udhampur, SDH Hiranagar, SDH Hiranagar and Police Hospital, Jammu, respectively whereas Dr Geeta Dubey (MO), presently deployed at GB Pant Hospital Jammu, has been posted at PHC Chiba in Block Dansal, where Dr Mohd Saleem Khan (MO) is going to superannuate on December 31, 2019.
Dr Rashpal (MO, SDH Akhnoor) has been posted to NTPHC Adhkawari, Dr Perkin Raina (MO, Migrant Dispensary) to SDH Jagti Nagrota, Dr Arun Kumar (MO, Police Hospital, Jammu) to CHC Katra, Dr Romy Sharma (MO, DH Kathua) to SDH Hiranagar, Dr Rekha Rani (MO, SDH Hiranagar) to CD Hospital, Jammu and Dr Sunil Raina (MO, CHC Katra) to SDH Jagti Nagrota.
Dr Rekha Anand (MO, PHC Mishriwala) has been transferred and posted to SDH Akhnoor, Dr Osmani Saudi (MO, Psychiatric Hospital, Jammu) to PHC Raya, Dr Anu Gupta (MO, DH Udhampur) to SDH Chenani, Dr Mudasir Arif (MO, CHC Chenani) to NTPHC Dudu, Dr Santosh Devi (MO, DH Udhampur) to SDH Chenani, Dr Vinod Kumar (MO, CHC Chenani) to PHC Barnara and Dr Kavita Sharma (MO, DH Udhampur) to SDH Hiranagar.
Dr Taruna Gupta (MO), who was under orders of transfer to UHC Sainik Colony, has been posted to PHC Mishriwala whereas Dr Fozia Bukhari (MO, UHC Nanak Nagar) shall report to CMO Jammu for further duties.
