JAMMU, Oct 29: Government today accorded sanction to the engagement of 25 candidates on faculty posts in Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu and Super Speciality Hospital Jammu on academic arrangement basis, for a period of one year or till the posts are filled up on regular basis, whichever is earlier.
According to the Government order, Dr Manik Mahajan, Dr Happy Kour and Dr Rohini Gupta have been engaged on the posts of Assistant Professors in Radio Diagnosis, Ophthalmology and Pharmacology departments, respectively while as Dr Rahul Khajuria, Dr Ankur Malhotra, Dr Himanshu Sharma and Dr Sameer Anand have been appointed on the posts of Lecturers in Medicine Department.
Dr Loveleen Kour has been engaged as Lecturer in Anaesthesiology Department, Dr Rashid Anjum as Lecturer in Orthopedics Department, Dr Neeraj Dhar as Lecturer in Medical Gastroentology, Dr Sumit Dev Bloria as Lecturer in Neuro Anesthesia Department where as Dr Pranav Gupta and Dr Etti Goel have been appointed as Lecturers in Ophthalmology Department.
Besides, Dr Anchal Gupta, Dr Deepjyoti and Dr Sumeet Angral have been appointed as Lecturers in ENT Department, Dr Sabha Mushtaq as Lecturer in Dermatology, Dr Gazala Abbas as Lecturer in Bio-Chemistry, Dr Nikhil Gupta as Lecturer in Psychiatry Department and Dr Pallvi Sharma as well as Dr Shah Nawaz as Lecturers in Pediatrics Department.
Dr Sumit Pandita has been appointed as Lecturer in Radio Therapy Department, Dr Varsha Koul as Lecturer in Cardiology, Dr Nipun Saproo as Lecturer in Neurology and Dr Mohd Javeed Bandey has been engaged as Lecturer in CVTS Department.
