23 guests from POK arrive, 7 Kashmiri cross to other side of LoC

As many as 23 residents of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) arrived here, while seven Kashmiris crossed over to the other side of Line of Control (LoC) in the Karvan-e-Aman bus, operating between Srinagar and Muzaffarabad.
Meanwhile, 18 returnees also crossed sides at Kaman post, the last Indian military post on this side of the LoC in Uri sector. Official sources here today said that 23 POK residents, including seven women and four children, arrived at Kaman post after crossing Aman Setu or peace bridge, on foot to meet their relatives, separated in 1947 due to partition.
They said seven Kashmiris, including three women and a child, who had gone to POK, returned to Srinagar after completing stay there. Meanwhile, seven Kashmiris crossed to the other side of LoC to meet their relatives, sources said, adding that they included two women and child. As many as 11 POK residents, including three women and a child, who had come to Srinagar in previous bus also returned to their homes, they added. (AGENCIES)
