JAMMU, Aug 1: Nagrota and Jhajjar Kotli police rescued 22 bovine animals and arrested two persons.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Nagrota police station laid a naka and intercepted a Srinagar bound truck.
During checking, police rescued 12 bovine animals from the truck and arrested one person.
Meanwhile, based on reliable information, a team from Jhajjar Kotli police station laid a naka and intercepted a truck.
During checking, police rescued 10 bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested the driver.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Jhajjar Kotli police station and investigation started.
