UDHAMPUR, Aug 22: The Police Constable, who is accused of raping a minor girl and making an objectionable video clip of the victim, has been arrested.
The accused, identified as Shammi Kumar, posted at District Police Lines Udhampur, had allegedly raped a 17-year old girl of Udhampur and also made her video clip for blackmailing purpose.
Acting on complaint of the victim, Police arrested the accused Constable and registered a case in this connection.
Meanwhile, a 60-year old woman was allegedly raped by a person at a village in Ramnagar tehsil. The accused, identified as Sagaru (45) of Shatradi, Ramnagar, was evading arrest even as Police has registered the case in this connection.
