JAMMU : A fresh batch of 204 pilgrims today left for the holy Shri Amarnath Cave Shrine in South Kashmir and 115 pilgrims left for Shri Buddha Amarnath Cave Shrine in district Poonch from ‘Yatri Niwas’ at Bhagwati Nagar base camp in this winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir.
“A batch comprising 115 males, 15 females and 74 sadhus left for the Amarnath cave shrine from here in a convoy of six vehicles including private and SRTC buses,” official spokesperson here said.
“115 pilgrims left for Shri Buddha Amarnath Cave Shrine situated in Poonch district of the state.
83 male, 22 females and 10 children left for the shrine in a convoy of three vehicles”, official added.
The yatra was flagged off yesterday from the base camp. (AGENCIES)
