RAJOURI, Apr 2: At least a score of sheep and goats were charred to death as a cattle-shed caught fire in Chingus area of Rajouri district last night.
Official sources said that a Kucha cattle-shed of one Noor Mohd, son of Lal Din, resident of Reshwa village, in Chingus area caught fire during last night. Some goats of Abdul Ghani, son of Mir Wali were also there in the shed, which were being looked after by Noor Mohd for the past some time. They were also charred to death.
The police party from Chingus Police Post rushed to the spot after receiving information. The cause of death was being ascertained.
