KATRA, Jan 3: A two-week ISTE workshop on ‘Signals and Systems’ conducted by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Katra in collaboration with IIT Kharagpur began here today.
The workshop is being conducted under the National Mission on Education through ICT (NMEICT) project by IIT Bombay.
The workshop is simultaneously being conducted through live video conference mode by subjects’ experts from IIT Bombay and IIT Kharagpur using A-View software across 237 remote centers all across India with more than 10,000 participants in total.
The workshop was inaugurated live by the Dean Continuing Education along with the Workshop Coordinator of IIT Kharagpur and IIT Bombay and was attended by the Dean Faculty of Engineering SMVDU, faculty members of the SMVDU and participants.
The workshop coordinator, Ashish Suri, distributed the registration kits along with Aakash tablet to the participants and highlighted the need of such interactive workshop to empower the teachers through ICT.
