POONCH, July 6: The police today achieved breakthrough when District Special Branch team succeeded in arresting two wanted criminals.
The absconder namely Gulzar Hussain, son of Hajer Hussain, resident of Dharana , Tehsil Mendhar was wanted in case FIR No. 19/2014 u/s 325/323 RPC. He was arrested after 5 years of commission of offence as he had escaped outside the State to evade his arrest.
Another absconder namely, Murat Bi, wife of Mohd Mobeen, resident of Chajjla in Mendhar against whose warrant u/s 512 CrPC had been issued by JMIC, Mendhar in case FIR No.66/2018 u/s 302, 307, 323, 324, 325, 341, 147, 148, 149, 427 RPC has also been arrested. She was evading her arrest for the last one and half year.
