JAMMU, Sept 24: Channi Himmat Police solved two theft cases by recovering stolen vehicles. However, police also arrested one thief.
As per police sources, two complaints were lodged at Police Station Channi Himmat regarding theft of two vehicles (scooty & motor bike) and accordingly two cases under FIR Numbers 136/2022 and 140/2022 under relevant sections were registered at this police establishment.
To work out the cases, a team from Police Station Channi Himmat led by SHO Inspector Deepak Katoch under the supervision of SDPO East Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafari was constituted.
After putting in hectic efforts, the police team recovered the stolen scooty in the case registered under FIR Number 136/2022 and also arrested one accused in FIR Number 140/2022 along with stolen motorbike.
The arrested person was identified as Baru, son of Bali Mohd of Nowshera Simbli Sarana District Hoshiarpur Punjab.
Further investigation into the cases is going on.
