JAMMU, Oct 7: The Government today ordered posting of two Superintendents of Police (SPs) and deputed one to the Union Territory of Ladakh.
Lakshay Sharma, an IPS officer, awaiting orders of posting, has been placed as SP (Tech), CID Headquarters, against an available vacancy.
SP, Iftikhar Talib, presently deputed to Union Territory of Ladakh has been repatriated to J&K UT and posted as SP (PC) Srinagar. Ch. Iftikhar Ahmed (SP), presently posted as Dy Commandant in IR- Ist Battalion has been deputed to the Union Territory of Ladakh for a period of two years or till the final appointment is made in terms of Section 89 (2) of the Jammu and Kashmir Re-organisation Act, 2019.
