MENDHAR, Apr 6: For kidnapping and torturing a handicapped Government employee to settle personal score and misusing election duty vehicle, SP Poonch today dismissed two SPOs and suspended a Police Constable of Gursai Police Station in Mendhar today.
SDPO Mendhar, Surinder Choudhary, who was directed to conduct inquiry into the whole matter told the Excelsior that SPOs Mohd Razak and Mohd Latief who were identified for the offence, have been disengaged while Constable Mohd Shahid has been suspended. The inquiry into the role of Head Constable was also going on. The cops have been detained. Action under law will be taken against them.
All the three were posted at Gursai Thana and had kidnapped and severely torched Class IV employee, Mohd Aslam of Dhar Galoon. They used Election Duty vehicle for kidnapping and then dumped the victim near his house in critical condition. The victim is serious and is still admitted in Rajouri hospital.
