2 soldiers injured in IED blast

Srinagar, May 5: Two Army personnel were injured in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast at Khanthawala area near the Line of Control (LoC) in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district today.
Two soldiers of 2/8 GR received serious injuries in their legs at Khanthawali Post area along the LoC in the explosion.
The blast occurred when one among the injured soldiers stepped on the IED in the area. Both the injured were taken to nearby health facility where from they have been shifted to Army’s 92 Base Hospital in Badamibagh Cantonment Srinagar for treatment.
