JAMMU, July 30: The Health Officer Jammu Municipal Corporation has placed under suspension two Sanitary Inspectors namely Shadi Lal & Indu Bushan & one Sanitary Supervisor namely Shah Nawaz for dereliction of their duties.
On July 28 during the tour of Secretary to Government HUDD, Commissioner alongwith other senior officers of Jammu Municipal Corporation, the sanitation of some parts of city such as Manda area & Janipur Colony was not found up to the mark & garbage was also found un cleared. Further the Health Officer has also directed the field staff of sanitation wing to improve the sanitation particularly during the Gazatted holidays & Sundays.
Besides evening & night shifts of cleanliness of city shall be monitored on regular basis by the senior officers of the Corporation. Any dereliction on this part will be viewed seriously & strict action will be initiated against the officials found not complying to the directions.
