KATHUA, Sept 27: Two motorcycle borne youth snatched a golden air ring from a lady in a lane in Kathua late last night and fled.
They also tried to snatch the golden chain of the lady but after she raised the alarm they fled.
The Kathua police has registered a case in this regard. The lady identified as Santosh Devi wife of Rattan Chand of Kathua was coming to her house via a lane when two motorcycle borne youth pounced upon her and snatched her ear ring. They also tired to snatch her golden chain but had to fled as lady raised an alarm. The people in Kathua have expressed concern over the increasing chain snatching incidents in the district and in this month it is sixth such incident.
No arrest was made so far by the police.
