2 mobile phones snatchers arrested

JAMMU, Feb 25: Talab Tillo police arrested two mobile phones snatchers along with 5 phones and a scooty.
As per police sources, various complaints of snatching were reported in different parts of the city.
On a specific input in the ongoing investigation of the cases, Incharge Talab Tillo Police Post SI Sumeet Sharma and his team caught hold of a snatcher namely Ajay Partap Singh alias Abbu, son of Mohan Singh of Naryana Mohallah Kachi Chawni.
On his disclosure, associate of the accused identified as Harshbardan Singh alias Akshu, son of Arjun Dev Singh of Naryana Mohallah Kachi Chawni, who was also involved in mobile phones snatching cases, was also arrested.
During sustained questioning, they revealed the details and based on which a scooty having registration number JK02BF 9029 used in snatching along with stolen Redmi mobile phone were recovered. Moreover, four other mobile phones of Vivo, Samsung, Gionee and Micromax companies were also recovered from their possession which they had snatched from different persons in various areas of city.
Further investigation is going on and chances of more recovery are there.
The whole operation was carried out under the supervision of SHO Nowabad Inspector Neeraj Bhagat, SDPO West Pranav Mahajan and SP City Dr Vinod Kumar.
