Srinagar, July 24: Two militants of Hizbul Mujahideen who were trapped by security forces in Rampur village of Kulgam district last night fled under the cover of darkness.
The gun battle broke out between militants and security forces in Rampora area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district last night soon after a joint operation was launched by security forces.
The militants opened fire on troops leading to a gun battle and fled under the cover of darkness.
The security forces conducted searches in the nearby areas but no militant was found.
