2 LeT OGWs arrested

Srinagar, Jan 13: Police today arrested two Over Ground Workers (OGWs) of Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) here, while militants lobbed a grenade on security forces without causing any harm.
Police said that they arrested two militant associates of LeT outfit based from Bulbul Bagh Barzulla on a reliable information. They have been identified as Muzaffar Jan son of Ghulam Nabi Mir, resident of Old Barzulla Srinagar and Abass Shafi Najar son of Mohammad Shafi Najar, resident of Natipora Srinagar.
Police said arms and ammunition including two Chinese pistols, two magazines and 13 pistol cartridges were recovered from their possession.
A case (FIR No. 06/2021) under relevant Sections of law has been registered at Police Station Sadder. Police said that investigation in the case is underway.
And militants today lobbed a grenade towards CRPF party in Rainawari area of Srinagar. However, no loss of life or injury was reported.
The grenade was lobbed towards CRPF party of 21 battalion outside Chhatti Padhsahi Gurudwara here in Rainawari.
