SRINAGAR: Two people were killed, when a snow avalanche hit them in the frontier district of Kupwara, official sources today said. They said Nazir Ahmad Cheche and Mohammad Rafiq were hit by a snow avalanche yesterday at Khoni Nallah in Kupwara, which had recently received heavy snowfall. The injured were shifted to a hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries, sources added. (AGENCIES)
