SRINAGAR, Nov 30: Two persons were killed, while five others were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman said four persons were injured when unregistered tipper and an Auto collided at Wangund in Kulgam district.
The injured were shifted to a hospital for treatment where Saba wife of Ghulam Hassan Wani of Wangund succumbed to her injuries.
An unregistered tractor turned turtle at Wadder Hanga in Handwara, resulting in on spot death of its driver, Tawseef Ahmad Chopan son of Abdul Gaffar Chopan of Sadder Gund Hangha.
In another accident, two persons were injured when a truck JK03B/1464 and a bus JK03C/6882 collided at Akhran, Kulgam. Both the injured have been shifted to a hospital for treatment.
The spokesman said police has registered cases in these accidents.
