2 killed, 4 injured in road mishaps

JAMMU, Dec 3: Two persons were killed while four others injured in separate road accidents in city outskirts.
Two youths were killed on the spot while two other injured in a road accident that took place at flyover near Jewel, in the wee hours here today.
According to a police spokesperson, four youths on two motorbikes were coming back from Satwari to their residence at Resham Ghar, when one of the bikes hit with a street light pole and the other bike which was just following it also hit it from back.
As the bikes were in high speed, two youth died on spot in the accident while other two received serious injuries. On getting information, Nowabad police reached the spot and shifted the injured persons and dead bodies to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu. After conducting post mortem, the bodies of the deceased youths were handed over to family members for last rites while the condition of the injured youth was stated to be stable.
Those who lost their life in the accident have been identified as Shivam Salgotra (19) son of Pawan Salgotra and Sarin Bhardwaj (19), son of Ashok Kumar, both residents of Resham Ghar while the injured persons are Ankush (18) son of Jugal Kishore and Ankush Bhardwaj (16) son of Ashok Kumar, both residents of Resham Ghar also.
One Shami Kumar son of Yash Pal, a resident of RS Pura got injured when the bike he was riding on got slipped at Miran Sahib. He was shifted to GMCH for treatment.
A youth namley Sagar Aggarwal, son of Ashwani Aggarwal, a resident of Mangotrian Mohalla, Shalamar Road (Jammu) also received serious injuries when a Qualis car hit his bike at Digiana (Jammu) near Gurudwara.
