2 killed, 4 injured in road mishaps

UDHAMPUR, Dec 11: A young girl died and four others of a family were critically injured when their car collided with a Tata Mobile on the National Highway near Rehambal, here today, while a motorcyclist died at Roundmail when his bike skidded off the road.
According to the reports, a Maruti Car, bearing registration number JK02S-0537 collided with a Tata Mobil JK02B-0706 resulting into critical injuries to the persons travelling in the car.
Locals took the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared one of them as brought dead. The deceased was identified as Shazia Akhtar (22), daughter of Tarik Hussain of Khari Udhampur.
The other injured, identified as Anwar Hussain (26) son of Kaku Din of Nainsoo Udhampur, Naseema Begum (38) wife of Bashir Ahmed of Thard, one year old Mannat, daughter of Anwar Hussain, of Nainsoo and Asif Ali (24), son of Shabir Ahmad Malik of Patnitop, were referred to GMC Hospital Jammu in view of their serious condition.
Meanwhile, in another road accident, a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK14B-7917, skidded off the road at Roundmail Udhampur, this evening, resulting into on the spot death of the motorcyclist.
The deceased was identified as Kuldeep Kumar (25), son of Dev Raj of Sanasar, Batote, Udhampur.
