2 killed, 4 injured as truck rams into vehicles

JAMMU, Mar 13: Two persons were killed while four others injured when a truck rammed into several vehicles at Narwal Mandi here today.
As per police sources, six persons were seriously injured after a truck rammed into several vehicles at Narwal Mandi.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu, where doctors declared two of the injured as brought dead. The four injured persons were undergoing treatment.
The deceased were identified as Suraj Parkash, son of Gyan Chand of Chowki Choura, Tehsil Akhnoor, District Jammu and Bodh Raj, son of Krishan Lal of Kathyal RS Pura.
The injured were identified as Yogesh Thakur, son of Kikar Singh of Billawar, at present Digiana Jammu, Raj Kumar, son of Girdhari Lal, Bishamber Singh, son of Bahadur Singh and Vicky Sharma, son of Madan Lal, all residents of Kathyal RS Pura.
After conducting autopsy, the bodies of the deceased were handed over to family members for last rites.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Bahu Fort Police Station and investigation started.
